A Course Redesign Project

چکیده

In the summer of 2019, a cooperative team Biology faculty and principal investigator worked to develop solid set aligned student learning outcomes across sections first semester (BIOL 1305) second 1306) introductory Biology. Additionally, group on course objectives alignment within scope sequence courses, as well syllabi. A full redesign was initiated over summer, where goal align (SLOs), assessments, shared syllabi for six two courses biology. 
 At UTEP, overall integrate adaptive courseware technology tools, open education resources (OER) active strategies in our Learning Management System (LMS), Blackboard, number 1305 1306 beginning spring 2020. This is challenging, much not strong content would like these classes, although it can help substantially reduce costs students.
